Good to know.
Am I too young for perimenopause?
It often starts between 40 and 45, and sometimes earlier. If your periods are changing and you feel different, it's worth checking.
Is hormone therapy safe?
For many women it is safe and works very well. Your doctor checks your history, blood pressure and risks first.
Do I need blood tests?
Not always. Perimenopause is mostly diagnosed from your symptoms. Your doctor may check thyroid, iron or blood sugar to rule out other causes.
